Wir sind eine CH-Expat Familie mit 2 Kindern und in den letzten 13 Jahren schon 9 mal umgezogen. Seit einem Jahr wohnen wir in Athen. Mareike helped me finding a house in Athens in July 2013.

I have contacted Mareike Buchholz one week before my arrival in Athens, giving her, by phone only, my "wish list” concerning the house.

At my arrival, a list of roughly 20 appointments to be visited in 2 days was ready. The hours of the appointments were already mentioned and she had also prepared a (precious) map with the location of each property, taking each time into account the distance (and the time needed) to the Schools.

All the houses we have visited were potentially in line with my initial requirements and Mareike did not hesitate to provide me precious information about good and bad points, potential problems of localization, relationship with the owner…..

Based on the visits (all on time), I built a short-list of 6 properties that we visited again some days later with my family, to finally choose the one we are living in today.
